DTI Nuclease free water is ultra-filtered deionized water that is designed for use in all molecular biology applications. The product is DNAse and RNAse free. Since it is not treated with DEPC, there is no worry about the inhibition of RT-PCR by residual DEPC.

Experimental Sample

a) RNAse Contamination Check:

RNase activity was not detected by agarose gel electrophoresis when 1 μg of total RNA derived from HL60 cells was incubated with the nuclease free water for 16 hours at 37°C. Below is the electrophoresis image for the same.

b) DNAse Contamination Check:

DNase activity was not detected by agarose gel electrophoresis when 1 μg of λDNA was incubated with the nuclease free water for 16 hours at 37°C. Below is the electrophoresis image for the same.

c) RT-PCR Data:

In the below study, the nuclease free water has been used to dilute the RNA template, used as a component in the cDNA synthesis and PCR reaction system to amplify specific target band of 4.4Kb total RNA.
